How do I buy my tickets?

Tickets can be purchased from our official ticketing partner, Iwannaticket, HERE.

Please note, this is the only official ticketing partner, and any tickets purchased from any third party sites cannot be guaranteed.

Is ALIVE Garden Party accessible?

All ALIVE events accommodates for people with accessibility requirements, is wheelchair accessible and supports the companion program.

Will the bars be taking cash?

No. All the bars are cashless, so please ensure you bring along your visa/mastercard credit or debit card (or ensure your phone has enough battery if you’re using Apple/Google pay).

What drinks will be available?

We will have a delicious selection of beverages available on the day, across all our bars! For more information on what drinks will be on offer, stay tuned to our socials.

What food will be available?

We will have a range of high quality food stalls and trucks catering to all dietary requirements at all of our ALIVE locations. Stay tuned to our socials for more info on what food you can expect to find at your closest event!

Drug policy?

ALIVE Garden Party does not condone drug use, or any behaviour that may knowingly cause harm to an individual.

Police sniffer dogs are likely to operate at ALIVE, so please don’t bring anything with you that will prevent you from enjoying the festival.

If you’re feeling unwell, or see someone who might need assistance, please reach out to the closest medical team member, security or event staff immediately. Our team are here to help, without judgement.

Can I bring in a camera?

Professional cameras, and any camera with a detachable lens, are not permitted. You can, however, bring in a small point and shoot camera, a disposable camera and your smart phone.

Is there a lost & found?

Yes! The location for lost & found is slightly different at each festival. Please look out for the signs pointing you in the right direction on the day.

If you lose something at the event, head to the Facebook event page and our socials for information on who to contact about Lost & Found.

Can I work at ALIVE Garden Party?

We will have a few paid and volunteer positions available at each of our ALIVE shows. Please email info@alivegardenparty.com and be sure to include the event you’re interested in working at, along with your CV.

What medical facilities will be available?

There will be full medical facilities available on site. The First Aid tents will be easily visible, but if you have any trouble finding them, don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly staff for assistance.

What is NOT permitted into Alive?

Weapons, glass, knives, metal objects, fireworks, flares, glow sticks, lasers, umbrellas, portable seats, hampers, eskies, sporting equipment or dangerous goods are NOT permitted at ALIVE Garden Party. All bags, containers and persons are subject to a full search at entry to ensure the safety of patrons. Prohibited items will be confiscated (and only returned at the discretion of the promoter) except for illegal drugs, which will be handed over to police.

Additionally, no professional cameras (such as an SLR), professional video camera (including go-pro’s), sound recording devices or lighting equipment are permitted.

Is ALIVE Garden Party all ages?

ALIVE is an 18+ event.

What time does the festival start and finish?

Gate times are different at all shows!

VIC – 2pm – 9pm

WA – 3pm – 10pm

NSW – 4pm – 10pm

SA – 3pm – 10pm

Can I leave and come back in?

ALIVE does not allow you to leave the event and then come back in (also known as a “pass out”).

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

No. No drinks are permitted into the festival, except for a sealed or empty plastic water bottle (600ml maximum)

Can I bring a water bottle with me?

Yes! We are more than happy for you to bring in either a sealed or empty plastic water bottle into the event (maximum 600ml permitted). However, you cannot bring in glass or metal bottles.

We will have plenty of water stations available around the site for you to refill your bottle throughout the day.

Please note, no other sealed drinks will be permitted in, such as; soft drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks etc.

Can I bring food with me?

No food will be permitted into the event. We have an extensive range of food vendors at all shows, catering to all dietary requirements.

If you have a medical condition that requires you to bring along your own food, please drop an email to us at info@alivegardenparty.com to gain prior approval for a smooth entry process.

I need to bring my medication with me, how do I do this?

Please send an email to info@alivegardenparty.com to advise of the medication you will be bringing, so that we can ensure a smooth entry process for you.

If your medication requires storage/refrigeration, please see our first aid tent immediately after arrival so you can make arrangement with the team for you medication.

Can I camp at ALIVE Garden Party?

Unfortunately not. There is a range of accommodation options available nearby to each of our shows. We recommend taking a look at the visitor information websites for your location to get more information on accommodation options in the area.

What if it rains?

ALIVE Garden Party will go ahead rain, wind or shine – unless weather conditions become extreme and dangerous and pose a serious risk to the safety of patrons, artists and crew.

How do I apply to be a food vendor?

Please email info@alivegardenparty.com and your email will be forwarded on to the relevant team member. Please don’t forget to include the show you wish to join us at!

Can I bring a chair and/or picnic rug into the event?

Yes! We are delighted to accomodate chairs and picnic rugs at Alive, to make your day more comfortable.

In VIC – high back chairs are permitted, however, in WA, NSW and SA, only low-back chairs are permitted.

What are low-back chairs? Think beach chairs and folding stools.

How much are tickets?

General Admission tickets start from $89 + fees

VIP tickets start from $129 + fees.

VIP offerings may vary slightly between each show. To check what your VIP ticket includes, head to either the location page on our website or onto the ticket page. However, each show always includes the following benefits;

  • Express entry
  • Exclusive access to the VIP area with premium viewing
  • Access to the VIP bar (with increased offering)
  • Access to VIP toilets
How many tickets can I buy?

You can purchase a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction.

If you are coming as a group of 5 or 10, be sure to activate our Five Friends Pack offer! You’ll see it on the ticketing page.

Can I show the ticket on my phone at entry?

Yes! As long as the barcode is clearly legible. Make sure your phone is fully charged to avoid any issues!

I can't go anymore. Can i get a refund?

As per the terms and conditions of purchase, we do not offer refunds.

Where can I re-sell my ticket?

To combat inflated ticket scalping, ALIVE will only recognise tickets which are re-sold at default face value through our official ticket re-sale facility, Tixel.

Do I need to bring my ID?

As an 18+ event, you will need to bring at least one of the following forms of photo ID to be permitted into the festival.

  • Current Australian drivers license
  • Current passport
  • Government issued Proof of Age Card
  • Victorian Keypass
  • International Drivers License (must contain a photograph)

COVID-19 info

Please remember, if you are not feeling well, have any flu like symptoms or are waiting on a PCR test result to please stay home.

While at the festival, please be mindful of other patrons’ space, wash your hands after you go to the loo and use the hand sanitiser provided throughout the site.

We will have bus transfer options available for the Yarra Valley (VIC) and Southern Highlands (NSW) Alive shows, which are located outside of a capital city.

Further bus information will be available on the relevant ticketing page.

You will need to purchase a ticket for your desired route to gain access to the bus.

For Perth and Adelaide, we recommend utilising the local public transport options to get to the event!

Do bus tickets include a return trip?

They sure do!

All Alive buses will depart from the event back to the same location you were picked up.

Departures will commence from 8:30pm and depart at frequent intervals on a fill-and-go system.

 

For Perth and Adelaide, please refer to the local public transport bus timetables.

Can I change my bus ticket to a different departure time?

All bus ticket purchases are final. We do not swap bus tickets, nor do we refund them if you make a mistake.

I'm driving to the event. Is parking free?

Each location is different. Please take a look at the relevant location page on our website for more “getting there” information.

For the buses that are put on by us, all buses will depart from your selected location at your selected departure time and head to the festival.

Please ensure you arrive at the pick up location at least 15mins prior to your departure time, and have your bus ticket ready for scanning (printed ticket or PDF on your smart phone). No refunds will be given if you miss the bus.

On the return trip, the bus will drop you back at the same location.

Can I organise an uber/taxi after the event?

This will be easier in some locations more than others, due to the locations of each show.

Who can apply for media accreditation?

Media accreditation will only be granted to members of the media who represent recognised and legitimate media organisations.

Freelance journalists and photographers will only be granted accreditation if they are working on behalf of a recognised and legitimate media outlet. All applications will be checked with editors.

Please note, there is limited availability for media accreditation requests.

I want to write a story about ALIVE Garden Prty and/or interview an artist prior to the event. Who do I contact?

For all official media enquiries, artist and event image requests, please contact info@alivegardenparty.com and your email will be directed to the right team member.

Where do I collect my pass from?

Information on how to collect your pass and/or reviewer ticket will be emailed to you in the lead up to the event.

How do I apply for media accreditation?

When media accreditation applications open, we will post a link to the application form here, so please keep checking back!

When will I know if my application is successful?
