TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE AND PURCHASE:
  1. The event is a licensed, 18+ event only.
  2. Entry is at own risk. The right to refuse entry is reserved.
  3. There are strictly no passouts.
  4. No refunds or exchanges will be given on any ticket, except as required by and/or specified by the Entertainment Industry Code of Fair Practice. Incorrect purchases are NOT guaranteed a refund and are at the discretion of the Promoter.
  5. Refunds will not be available for change of circumstances in the ticket holder’s personal life – including but not limited to change in employment/relationship status, unapproved leave request or change in financial status.
  6. ALIVE Garden Party will not be responsible for any fees, expenses, charges or costs incurred with third parties (no matter how linked they are with your anticipated attendance at the event), such as airline, tour operator and accommodation costs booked externally. Please make sure you check each providers’ cancellation policies and book accordingly.
  7. Tickets may be reissued at any time, up until 24hrs prior to the event.
  8. Your barcoded ticket is your ticket to the event. A printout or the PDF ticket displayed on your smartphone can be presented at the front gate to gain entry.
  9. Your ticket will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment on your booking confirmation to the email address specified during the booking process. It will be emailed to you once your card has been successfully charged.
  10. At entry, the name on the ticket presented must match the full name specified on your valid photo ID.
  11. If you are purchasing multiple tickets, you must nominate the attendees full name, mobile number and email address. Each ticket will be a separate PDF.
  12. Each ticket attracts a booking fee, which is inclusive of GST, and is non-refundable. Any fees charged by IWannaTicket will be disclosed to you prior to the time of your ticket purchase.
  13. IWannaTicket accepts Amex, MasterCard and VISA .
  14. If you agree to purchase tickets under these conditions, you can then purchase up to 10 tickets per customer. Multiple transactions by the same customer may be cancelled at the discretion of IWannaTicket/the Promoter.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or vary advertised event time and inclusions without notice. The Promoter reserves the right of admission.
  16. Should the event be cancelled or rescheduled, IWannaTicket will contact and inform customers.
  17. It is a condition of sale that tickets may not be offered for resale on 3rd party websites such as ViaGoGo, eBay, Gumtree or unknown Facebook accounts. Tickets may not be resold or re-offered for resale at a premium or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. If a ticket is in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
  18. Unauthorised sale or duplication of this ticket will prevent your admittance to the event.
  19. In the event that duplicate copies appear, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to all ticket holders.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse a ticket holder admission to the event or to evict that person from the event in any of the following circumstances: if the ticket holder fails to produce appropriate identification as proof of age; if the ticket holder refuses to make their clothes, bags, containers or other possessions available for search by the Promoter/Security; if the ticket holder is affected by the consumption of alcohol or drugs, if the ticket holder participates in dangerous activities including aggressive dancing, moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing and climbing, if the ticket holder does not adhere to licensing requirements.
  21. The Promoter and the owner and/or lessee of the venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or within the venue, whether caused by the negligence of the Promoter or the venue or otherwise.
  22. No professional cameras (such as an SLR), professional video camera (including go-pro’s), sound recording devices or lighting equipment are permitted at ALIVE Garden Party. When using your small still camera (such as a point and shoot camera) or mobile phone, please respect the privacy of all other patrons, staff, artists, and service providers.
  23. Weapons, glass, knives, metal objects, fireworks, flares, glow sticks, lasers, umbrellas, portable seats, hampers, eskies, sporting equipment or dangerous goods are NOT permitted at ALIVE Garden Party. All bags, containers and persons are subject to a full search at entry to ensure the safety of patrons. Prohibited items will be confiscated (and only returned at the discretion of the promoter) except for illegal drugs, which will be handed over to police.
  24. Ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording as members of the audience.
  25. In the event of an emergency evacuation or situation, you must follow all official directives.
  26. ALIVE Garden Party will operate in accordance with all relevant state, territory and/or federal health Orders/Directives put in place to manage the public health risk of COVID-19. These Orders/Directives may impact and alter the operation of ALIVE Garden Party and whether in existence now or in the future, they shall form part of these Conditions of Sale and Purchase and are incorporated by reference. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron who cannot comply with any operations that are put in place as a result of the Orders/Directives.
  27. IWannaTicket and ALIVE Garden Party reserves the right to add or modify the terms of the Purchasing Conditions at any time and without notice, by posting such amended terms on the Website. Your access to, or use of, the Website after the date such amended terms are delivered to You shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of such amended terms. No modification made by You shall be binding upon Us unless it is made in writing and signed by Us.
  28. IWannaTicket provides this service on behalf of the event Promoter.
  29. All tickets and products are GST inclusive and priced in Australian dollars.

 

FESTIVAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
  1. The event is a licensed, 18+ event only. No exceptions.
  2. Patrons entering the event must present a valid photo ID (VALID passport, VALID Driver’s License or Government issued proof of age card). The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron without appropriate identification
  3. Attendees from overseas (that is any country other than Australia) must bring their valid passport to gain entry. Overseas driver’s license, student University and/or Public Transport cards will not be accepted
  4. There are strictly no passouts at any ALIVE Garden Party event.
  5. Entry is at own risk. The right to refuse entry is reserved and is also subject to the venue’s terms of admission.
  6. The Promoter and the Venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or within the premises.
  7. On request, security has the right to ask you to legitimise yourself with further ID requests.
  8. All patrons and staff will be wrist-banded upon entry into the event. Any patrons that are on site with no wristband will be ejected immediately.
  9. Wristbands are not transferable and must be worn at all times. Patrons must not tamper with or remove them for the duration of the event. If removed, you may be ejected from the event. Wristbands remain the property of the event at all times.
  10. All persons, bags and containers are subject to a full search at entry to ensure the safety of patrons. Prohibited items will be confiscated (and only returned at the discretion of the promoter) except for illegal drugs, which will be handed over to police.
  11. No food, alcohol or beverages are permitted into ALIVE Garden Party.
  12. A sealed plastic water bottle or an empty water bottle is permitted.
  13. No liquids are permitted on site for safety and security reasons. There is free water provided on site at various locations inclusive of First Aid locations.
  14. No weapons, glass, knives, metal objects, fireworks, flares, glow sticks, lasers, umbrellas, portable seats, hampers, eskies, sporting equipment or dangerous goods are permitted at ALIVE Garden Party.
  15. No animals are permitted on site. Authorised dogs and companion dogs are an exception.
  16. No professional cameras (such as an SLR), professional video camera (including gopro’s), sound recording devices or lighting equipment are permitted at ALIVE Garden Party. When using your small still camera (such as a point and shoot camera) or mobile phone, please respect the privacy of all other patrons, staff, artists, and service providers.
  17. Any and all footage taken by patrons on camera, mobile phone or any recording device is subject to Copyright Laws.
  18. As members of the audience, ticket holders consent to being included in photos, sound and live recordings that are taken by the official ALIVE Garden Party media team, and can be used by the Promoter or Promoter-approved media outlets for promotion of the event.
  19. ALIVE Garden Party has a “Tops On” policy. That is, anyone not wearing tops (t-shirt, singlet etc) will be refused entry and refused service at service points throughout the event. Anyone inside the event not wearing a top will have their wristband removed and will be ejected from the event.
  20. Any intimidating or dangerous activities will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the event, without the right to re-entry or refund. This includes; posturing or “surrounding” patrons, aggressive moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing or climbing. The Promoter accepts no liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities.
  21. Where rides are on site, rides will be ridden at patrons’ own risk. The Promoter and event accept no responsibility or liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities.
  22. .The Promoter and the Venue will not take responsibility or liability for any personal property lost or damaged at ALIVE Garden Party, including cloaked items. Any lost property items handed in to Lost & Found will be held for one (1) day post-event only.
  23. In case of an emergency evacuation or situation, please follow all official directives.
  24. The Promoters or the event will not be held liable for any hearing damage or loss. Please use earplugs if necessary.
  25. Please be aware that smoke, pyrotechnics, lasers and strobe lighting may be in use.
  26. The Promoter reserves the right to change the line up and/or the date of the event without prior notification. In the event of a change, refunds will not be available.
  27. While we will endeavour to adhere to the publicised package contents, you accept that The Promoter reserves the right to change the line up and/or the date of the event without prior notification. In the event of a change, refunds will not be available.
  28. In the event of cancellation prior to gates opening, including a cancellation that is a result of force majeure (A force majeure event includes an event that prevents, hinders, delays or otherwise makes it impracticable by reason of any flood, riot, fire, judicial or governmental action, labour disputes, communicable diseases, act of God or any other causes beyond our control) we will provide a refund of the ticket price paid, excluding any booking fees.
  29. ALIVE Garden Party goes ahead, rain or shine. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
  30. Please arrive and depart in an orderly fashion and respect our neighbours. Keep noise levels down and dispose of rubbish in bins provided.
  31. ALIVE Garden Party will operate in accordance with all relevant state, territory and/or federal health Orders/Directives put in place to manage the public health risk of COVID-19. These Orders/Directives may impact and alter the operation of ALIVE Garden Party. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron who cannot comply with any operations that are put in place as a result of the Orders/Directives.
  32. Entry to the event will be refused if the ticket is damaged, altered or defaced in any way or not purchased from an authorised point of sale. If the ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain, it will become void and the holder may be refused entry to, or ejected from the venue.
  33. The right of admission is reserved and is also subject to the venue’s terms of admission.
  34. No refunds or exchanges will be given on any ticket, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. Incorrect purchases are NOT guaranteed a refund and are at the discretion of the Promoter.
  35. If you are evicted from the event or refused entry, your ticket will be cancelled and you will not be entitled to a re-entry or refund.
  36. There will be no refunds on any unused tickets, if you or your invitees are asked/forced to leave, if you’re unable to attend the event, if the event concludes before the advertised finish time or if you fail to adhere to any of the terms and conditions stated above, shown on your ticket or displayed on the premises.
  37. The Promoter and the venue practices responsible service of alcohol. Ticket price does not include beverages. Patrons behaving in a disorderly or inappropriate manner may be refused entry or evicted.

 

FORCE MAJEURE:

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, neither we nor any Third Party Supplier can accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our or the Third Party Supplier’s contractual obligations is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of force majeure. In these booking conditions, ‘force majeure’ means any event which we / the supplier of the service(s) in question / the Third Party Supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include, whether actual or threatened, war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics, fire and all similar events outside the control of the party concerned.
